During his appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday night, the comedian made it very clear where he stands on the issue of gender equality: He supports it and thinks you should, too.
The Resurrectionist: The Lost Work of Dr. Spencer Black by E.B. Hudspeth.
Anatomy of the Minotaur #resurrectionist #coolshit
So I was on my way home from work when I stumbled upon an absolutely amazing book for any monster fan out there. The Resurrectionist by E. B. Hudspeth is not only a fascinating fictional autobiography of a mad scientist in the 1800s on the origin of the human species, but it is also an incredibly detailed illustrated guide on many monsters, including but not limited to:
- Eastern Dragons
- And several more!!
These pages are just a pinch of the fantastic illustrations drawn by the author himself, and I’d more then recommend picking up the book for both reference usage and just to read on one of the cold winter’s days coming up.
Anatomy of Mythological Creatures
From the wickedly creative mind of artist and author E.B. Hudspeth comes a series of illustrations depicting mythological beasts in the meticulously labeled style of anatomy textbooks.
The images here are borrowed from Hudspeth’s The Resurrectionist, a two-part volume that includes The Codex Extinct Animalia, “a Gray’s Anatomy for mythological beasts, [including] dragons, centaurs, Pegasus, Cerberus” and others.
